My name is Megan Kilburne and since I was little I have had a huge imagination and the urge to create. At first painting, drawing, and various craft projects satisified this urge, but it was not until I took Photojournalism in high school that I felt truly satisified. I continued taking classes in college in order to refine my skills. A naturally shy person, I was able to tell a story and capture moments from behind my lens. Born and raised in Virginia; I am a true Southern girl and was raised to show Southern hospitality to anyone I meet. I take this practice to heart and with my business this means I will go the extra mile to get the perfect shot. Hiking in the woods in order to get to a clients dream location or waiting for a newborn to wake up from a nap to get that perfect smile is all part of what I believe in. Another belief I hold is that beauty lies within everything; no matter how mundane or grand the subject is all I have to do is look through my lens. With that said I hope you enjoy looking around my website and I look forward to making your beautiful moments memorable through my lens and I hope to hear from you soon.
